The Buxton International Collection marks a new chapter in the evolution of collecting by Michael Buxton AM. Following the successful launch of Buxton Contemporary at the University of Melbourne’s Southbank campus, Buxton International acquires significant works by the world’s leading contemporary artists. Expanding on the foundation of the Michael Buxton Collection, Buxton International is dedicated to acquiring significant works of art by leading and influential contemporary artists who have demonstrated excellence and made a significant contribution to contemporary art practice.
