POESIS is a new choreographic work created in collaboration with performers Tara Jade Samaya and Benjamin Hancock, featuring music by Chiara Costanza.
POESIS explores the concept of counterpoint, drawing on ideas from sensory ecology, physical intelligence, and mythology. It delves into the evolution of perception, examining how our sensory systems shape our actions, kinesthetic engagement, and understanding of the world. The work also explores the role of movement in expanding sensory experience.
